Vargas and Outman are looking like they might be the real deal. Both take great at bats and have excellent swings.

I would like to see Busch get a little more of a chance to get into the rotation. He looks like he can be a really good MLB player and he seems more than ready so we should either give him playing time or look to trade him

Outman really delivered last night. I also really like Busch's approach at the plate so far. I think we should continue to give Busch playing time. He seems ready for the majors, so we should either give him regular playing time or look to move him in a trade, as there isn't much sense to just having him linger in the minors at this point.

That would be a pretty nice pickup. I think we should definitely consider it, especially since Roberts doesn't seem to keen on giving Busch too much time on the field (which I don't get because he takes good at bats and has been solid in the little time he's had). At this point, I think Busch is MLB ready and so it doesn't make much sense to me to keep him in the minors and the deal you propose would address our primary needs so I like the idea!

I’m not sure what their deal with Busch is. I like him a lot and wish they’d give him everyday playing time. They need to DFA Thompson and at least play Busch against RHP and Vargas against LHP.
