If Bernie was playing today he'd be a superstar. I don't see that for Cabrera. I think if he turns out to be the next Brandon Lowe the Yankees should be through the roof.

I think by June/July we could see something like
    1Volpe 2nd base
2 Dom LF ( he looked like the best hitter on the team when he was up) he's still got a little left to prove but the important thing for me is he should be up in time for the playoffs and to take Hicks job so he doesn't get 10/5rights
    3 Judge RF
    4 Rizzo 1st
    5 Stanton DH
    6 DJ/Cabrera 3rd
    7 Bader CF
    8 Trevino
    9 Peraza SS
    With Cabrere playing all over.

IF ST is any indicator of whats to come, I would take that exact lineup to he playoffs and live with the chances against Houston
Four rookies in the starting lineup? You know that will never happen right? Lol

Note worthy: New CBA rules reward calling up top prospects.

" Top prospects who finish 1st or 2nd in the Rookie of the Year voting will receive a full year of service.

Clubs promoting top prospects to Opening Day rosters will be eligible to receive Draft picks if the player finishes in the Top 3 in the Rookie of the Year voting or Top 5 in MVP/Cy Young voting." (MLB)

So if the Yankees waited til May to promote Volpe because of service time, he could still wipe that away if he finished in the top 2 of ROY voting. The Yankees would also get a 1st round pick if he finished in the top 3. The incentive to call him up now and start him right away is clear.

As often as Volpe has started at SS and hit leadoff, I don't see any way he does not make the team at this point.

If Sevy is injured, they are ****ed.

If that's the case, a trade will surly happen. Whether Torres or Peraza +, they will panic.

Severino has been shut down with low-grade lat strain, according to Boone. Sunday would have been his normal day to make final spring start. In jeopardy to start reg season on time

Well Yankee fans, the once formidable rotation appears to be rather ordinary at this juncture.

Rodon, Montas, Trivino, Kahnle, Gil, ....now Sevy. They are dropping like flies.
