I'm glad to not worry about this like we did every time we heard deGrom had some kind of discomfort.

The title of his autobiography should be "An Abundance of Caution".

    Lol nice.

Wish him luck but glad we don’t need to hold our collective breaths anymore.

Throwing 96 already? Guess the bigger baseball hasn't affected his velocity.

Machado opting out of his contract after this season.

Sammon wrote about Senga today in the Athletic, saying that he had been throwing with the bigger ball since November, and also spent time in November, December and January working out at Driveline in Washington, where he was visited by Hefner and other Met staff members. Gist of the piece was that he's driven and has a great personality. He said the higher mound is also an adjustment he'll have to tinker with. Also, of the 50 pitches he threw yesterday, only half were full effort, in case that number freaks anyone out. You never know how a foreign player's game will translate, but I'm psyched to see what he can do.

I read an article today that reminded me about why Escobar had such a crappy season last year. I had forgotten about his off field problems, that no one really knows the details to, that he must have always been thinking about. Once they got resolved he went on a tear. Now I’m not saying he’s going to be the guy we saw last September. What I’m saying is we have a good chance of seeing the real Escobar for a full season. I think he’s going to make it hard for Baty to play 3rd base. Which honestly is fine with me cuz uncle Steve is going to make a push for Machado; making Baty a left fielder anyway.
I downloaded free trading app and have been making a lot of money ever since. Everything green energy is flying

I honestly think Cohen is going to go ballistic with the spending next year. Especially if we don’t win a WS. Look at what he was ready to do this year and even better players will be available.

I think its a safe bet that unless Baty establishes himself as the everyday 3rd baseman this year, Machado will be a Met. They can always try Baty in LF. He has a good arm and I think with enough reps, he can handle the OF.
