Not a fan of this trade for the wolves. We give up the best asset and get an over the hill point guard thats not going to move the needle for us. I would of wanted Beasley back along with Conley if anything. This is a terrible trade
Conley plays winning basketball and is a good presence....DeAngelo Russell is neither. I think you will be better this year and next.
I'm not a huge fan of this for Utah. REALLY sucks that the return we've gotten for Bojan, Beasley, Conley, and Vanderbilt is the Lakers protected pick and some scrubs. The tank is ON now I guess haha.
Twolves just seem to help every other team but themselves. Why do teams continue to help LA when LA have had more success than these other franchises put together
guess it depends on the picks re the Wolves
gotta love 'referential' treatment
Wouldn't this make the Lakers worse?

Thanks MJ-Bulls for the picture.
Lakers still trying to outscore teams. Won't work.

Just make this the trade day thread.
(Knicks) Reddish and a protected first for Josh Hart (Blazers).
I hate DLo's game and don't see how it will work any better in LA than it did in Minny.
LA has to make at least one more trade.
I love DLo the player but outside one amazing year in BK he's been mid

My guess is Ainge didn’t want a repeat of his last draft in Boston where he had 3 picks in the same year and none of them premium. Rather than getting a site to be late pick for each of them he found a team that was in the rare position of being willing to give up a higher upside long range pick for role players package.
LAL with that large Westbrook deal and a willingness to overpay because they have Lebron/AD was a unique situation.
I might be the one jazz fan thats ok with this. people are overrating what conley is worth(negative value), beasley is ok value. he makes 16 mill year doesn't really play defense and while he shoots a ton of 3's, he doesn't really make them at incredible clip. Vanderbilt again is an ok player who doesn't do anything incredible, but has a great contract. I don't understand why we had to give up 2 2nd round picks and why the pick is protected. I think they should have held up on it being unprotected or not giving up the 2nds. people keep saying 4 rotation guys, but give me a break. NWA isn't a rotation player. Beasley and Vanderbilt are both backups and likely will never be more then that. Vanderbilt has a chance to be more, but the rest don't. we traded a bad assest(conley) a few ok assets(Vanderbilt and Beasley) with 2 firsts for a really good future first. we traded a bunch quarters and nickels for a dollar bill.
