Wish this team would make sense! It’s hard to see the Pacers picking up the 10 seed since they only seem to play good vs. us. The question is, can we sneak our way to 8th and not have to win 2 straight to make it.

As it currently stands, we have a 2.5 game lead on the Pacers and Wizards. Pacers have the tiebreaker on us and we have the tiebreaker on the Wizards if I'm not mistaken? So lets call it a 2 game lead on the Pacers and 3 game lead on the Wizards.

We are 1.5 behind the Hawks for 8th and .5 behind the Raptors for 9th. Raptors hold the h2h tiebreaker with us and we are currently up 2-1 on the Hawks with a game remaining vs. them. So we are a full game back of the Raptors and we control our own destiny to be 1 game back of the Hawks.

Ideally we at least get the 9 spot so we can play that 1st game at home. In a perfect world we get to 7th and don't have to play a win or go home game.

It's funny how quick things change this year in the NBA playoff race. The WC is absolutely insane with 7 teams separated by 1.5 games for the 6-10 seeds. Gotta admit, the new playoff format has made way more games meaningful, and really puts some pressure on some stars to start showing up to more games.
