If it's about LBJ vs MJ goat, sure in theory I'm just as much of a brick wall as any Jordan fan as well. Goes both ways.

It comes down to both are insanely great and one is the best , one is second best.

He's young enough to be a big part of a reset. Is Lavine really the problem? Markannen. Dinwiddie, Cameron Payne, Portis, Carter Jr., just a few recent guys who looked a lot better when they left the Bulls. They'd probably trade Lavine for the #3 pick, and pick some guy no one even sees coming, like Patrick Williams.
Not to reopen old wounds with a rusty butter knife, but the organization took a profound shift after they fired Thibs. For some strange reason, Butler and Rose couldn't coexist and were let go a year apart. Butler wanted to be the alpha after dead fish Hoiberg couldn't command respect. They viewed Jimmy as a problem. It's just nonsensical decision after another. We're still feeling pain from decisions made years ago, and no respectful organization should let that happen. Hell, the Butler trade wasn't bad, but you compound that by trading Markkanen so forth and so on. It's nuts.

My comment is not a about MJ vs LBJ whatsoever.

It’s about the fact that you can’t allow yourself to ignore any post anywhere on this forum (here, nba forum, lakers forum, anywhere) criticizing Lebron, for anything. The logic you jump to is just pure desperation sometimes. You’re worse than those who defend a certain ex-president for anything he does.

You also go out of your way to criticize other players like KD or AD or anyone else that you think by doing so will help boost everyone’s thoughts on Lebron, and it’s simply quite sad.

I'll criticize players as I see fit just like any fan.

I love Bron, so ill criticize him less, not exactly hiding that. Just like MJ fans.

    My personal all-time ranks:
    1. Jordan
    2. Lebron
    3. Kareem

Lebron & Kareem have the volume of sheer numbers, but at their peaks I think nobody matches Jordan not just in terms of offensive & defensive value, but also leadership and the tenacity/emotional strength to get things done. He never would have let his team choke against the Mavericks in 2011. MJ never would've quit on his team (eg Lebron with Cleveland in 2010) before joining up with other stars in the league. Just mentally different players, and at their production that is what differentiates them.

Jordan is the best ever without a doubt in my mind. Just about every great player in the greatest era of basketball agrees with that. People really don't realize how different basketball is these days. Fundamentals are out the window. With the exception of a few, big men aren't nearly as skilled, and those bigs would get manhandled by guys like David Robinson, Shaq, Alonzo, Ewing, Hakeem. Lebron is a great player without a doubt. You don't dominate the East as long as he did without being an all time great. MJ was different though. Like I said last week, look at what Himmy Butler is doing in the playoffs right now. Jordan would do that at quite a bit higher of a level. There isn't a defender in the league today that could stop MJ. He would probably average 40 PPG vs. these players.

And you also have to run to his defense anytime someone on this site criticizes him is more what I’m pointing out. You literally have an excuse every single time someone says a negative thing about him. Is it that important to you?

    Probably, haha.

    I admit I do that. It's a problem.

Fair enough. 4 times is the answer apparently, 16-5 record.

I just read up on it. To not be bitter, he's a better man than me.

    Yeah same here...

Unfortunately Jimmy was amazing series 1, good series 2, and feels like a role player this series relatively speaking. Mostly over the last few games.

Heat actually have been better with Jimmy on the bench than with Bam on the bench.

Hopefully he turns it around because I really want a Nuggets Heat finals.

I'm not falling for this **** again. That off-season video of Zach and Caruso training had me so pumped up, and ended with blue balls.
