That's definitely part of it. You could almost say he played better because Brunson wasn't there. Ball was moving today.

He still plays better defense than JR and JB. This year, he has been lazy, more often than not. I am not going to assume that's how he plays defense. Because I've seen him play better.

Now that he is a 2 time allstar and Knicks fans still hating on him and some fans have the nerve to even call JB a ball hog now tells me exactly why NO SUPERSTAR wants to come to the Knicks...
if you looked back in time players like Deb and Lucas lived from deep and inside. Luc would take bombs straight on and Debuss lived in the corner, imagine the stats if there was a line for this two yes HOF players?

And again how you leave Melo out of 7 allstar appearances at 51 you should know this, and it wasn't you think just one and you questioned that?

I don't hate on Randle but any Knick fan at this point today puts him ahead of 4 Knick PF's and if you don't know who they are you simply choose not to answer my posts i've posted the 4 enough times.

Not saying he can't get there but today no, it makes anyone who says this appear young.

it was a very good win without Jalen, I can't believe the dip in Butler's play this season, i've watched maybe 8 games he don't look the same.

Lowry wow that contract is damn awful so glad we didn't get him, I know some wanted him in here, what a mistake that would have been, he is done, put a fork in it.

I'm not even sure who plays worse defense, RJ or Herro, we get on RJ enough, but Herro can't defend, horrible.

The Heat right now are not contenders, not sure what happened but I wish they traded for Cam and he played last night, they could have used him, would have been fun.

It’s very obviously Herro lol. RJ sometimes doesn’t give good effort and his mistakes look terrible, but Herro is a straight up liability on every play, even with an all world defender in Bam behind him.

We got very lucky. IDK if the goaltending should have been upheld and if they don't call the ghost foul at first I think Bam has a breakaway dunk. At worst that is overtime. It was interesting to see us play through Barrett down the stretch. If Julius' ego can handle that it is a good thing. I think they both should be able to handle not finishing games sometimes and both of them should not finish games sometimes. The end of the game and the 4 quarter as a whole was entertaining. The Heat are very weird. I believe they are last in offense.

Jalen gets the vast majority of crunch time decision making and RJ/Randle don't really seem to mind

Honestly Pat Riley gets so much credit but has made some really bad moves over the years. Guy handed out 50M to Tyler Johnson. Gave Duncan Robinson 20M per year. Just signed washed up Lowry to like 35M a year. He's always done the same thing the Knicks historically have done which is hand out big contracts to washed up players and trade picks for win now moves.

His rep is gold and Miami is Miami so he's always been able to attract players despite making plenty of short sighted Dolan-esque signings and moves over the years.

A breakaway dunk with 2 seconds left from half court?! They got lucky a foul was called because the game would have been over if Julius just lost the ball and let it roll.

I don’t think goaltending was lucky, Barrett regained enough control to float it up off the backboard and had the last touch on it before it hit backboard. Clear goaltending.
