NFC Divisional Round: Dallas Cowboys vs San Francisco 49ers

All time rivalry here...Cowboys/49ers which is probably the greatest rivalry in NFL history and it is being renewed yet again in the playoffs in the Divisional Round on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. Who wins to go to the NFC Championship Game? I have the 49ers beating the Cowboys to send the Cowboys home again for the 2nd year in a row. 49ers are the better team not just offensively but defensively as well. But it is going to come down to the quarterbacks ultimately. Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy. Purdy has been a relevation for the 49ers. He's undefeated as their QB. Hasn't lost a start yet since taking over and the 49ers have been a better team with him throwing compared to Jimmy G or even Trey Lance.

The playoffs is nothing but Dallas' biggest rivals: 69ers, Smurfs, Pigeons and the divisional round.

This game will be closer than most will give credit. I think if Dallas hangs around until the 4th or has a lead even they can pull this out

That's vintage Brady tbh. He's always been a dirty slider, except usually he at least has the ball

I don’t think it will be so much Purdy that gives the cowboys fits as much as it will be the Niners defense. They have the best defense left in the playoffs. After they beat the Cowboys they are going to smash the Giants in the NFC Championship Game.

Should be a fun game. All depends on if Dallas can run the ball tbh. If they can (and if Dak makes an effort to run himself like he did last game) then it opens up their entire offense. If they can't (like last year), it will be a slug fest and SF is probably better in a slug fest than Dallas is.

They key is containing (or slowing down) McCaffrey is the key, that and getting pressure on Purdy.

I think holding them to field goals would be huge for our defense. The 49ers are going to put together drives, they're just a well oiled machine, but can we employ a bend not break defense and maybe get a turnover or two? That would set the game up really well for us.

One thing that inspires some confidence in this game for me is that, I think, Dallas won more games against teams with double digit wins than any other team in the NFL this year. So they've proven they can beat good teams. Just have to prove it again on Sunday.
