Here's an article on Aaron Rodgers salary cap, etc., which includes what the cap hit would be for an acquiring team. I think it looks reasonable, especially if the trade is made after June 2, 2023. In such a scenario, the Jets would still be able to draft and improve their team this year, prior to giving up 2 #1s to acquire Rodgers.

Just for fun, I did the mock draft simulator and intentionally did not pick a QB. I traded down from 13 and a later pick to 16 and Washinton's #1 for 2024, then traded down the 16 and a later pick to acquire the 18th pick and the Lions 2024 #1. If this scenario ever could come to fruition, we could acquire the 2 #1s we need to make the Rogers trade. For the record, in addition to the 2 #1s, I drafted the following:
18. Brian Branch S Alabama
57. Henry ToOToO LB Alabama (trade #43 down to the Giants at #57 and picked up the #126)
126 Wanya Morris OT Oklahoma
141 SirVocea Dennis LB Pittsburgh
#172 Akheem Mesidor DT Miami
I beefed up the team with these picks and the defense would be amazing next year, but I possibly should have done more on the OL or picked up a WR later in the draft.
or how about this one with the same Rodgers scenario in the draft, but focusing on the OL
Trading down from #13 to #22, #24 and #28 with later picks to acquire Ravens #1, Denver #1 and Jacksonville #3 for next year and then drafting these 4 players:
#28 O'Cyrus Torrence OG FL
#43 John Michael Schmitz OC Minnesota
#110 Wanya Morris OT Oklahoma
#172 Ronnie Hickman S Ohio St
