Our first 2-3 picks could reshape our defense, But we must get Carter, And hopefully can light a fire under his ***, He has Donaldson talent. Then LBer in second round. I still like the idea of bringing Harmon back

We've been talking about our defense as it is compared to last years. We still have a whole draft to go where we have 4 top 100 picks and 12 total picks in a very defense heavy draft to continue to improve it.

And it sounds about right that you think there's college teams that have more talent than us lol. Anyways, I've wasted far too much time here. Cheers.
Reading between the lines of this convo is one that is highlighting that the issues with the defense appears one that goes beyond the simply the players on the field. You cannot have a team that in the past 20 years has had only a top 10 defense twice, with the majority of them in the bottom 12 and usually in the bottom 5.

There is still more info we all need to assess the performance of the current FO. They are partially dealing with players from previous regimes. However, if we simply look at what the did with the players the signed/traded/released/drafted, you already see some issues in my opinion. Chandler being the most glaring one. I am on mobile but can provide more context later of my current concerns with the players Raiders have gained and lost.

This list includes new free agents, resigned players, and franchise tags. Total of 342 moves so far with an average of 10. Raiders have 25. Of these, 9 are defensive signings. I do not think activity is the concern, it's the quality. The moves so far show that they are trying to get a lot of cheap bodies and with the multitude of draft picks, try to (re)build a team from that. The Raiders are indeed moving, I do not know what direction.

We will see what happens. Don't like that we are relying almost completely on the draft when we had a wide range of options. I would not be shocked if all 3 of our first picks are on the offensive side of the ball

I really don't think so, Maybe if Richardson falls to us. Though the fact we didn't look at Levis at all, Could mean we are very interested in him.
