Oh how things have changed since Lonzo's knee officially died

I don't believe he has a lebron impact but the he was making the offense work. They havent looked the same since he stepped off the court.
I don't think they'd be one either but I do believe they'd be a semis team and have a chance.
He's also a what, 6'7" Elite defender too. Good shooter.

35 games against a weak schedule. Not saying lonzo wouldn’t help, he would….but bulls aren’t remotely a #1 seed with him. They’d be lucky to be 4/5 with him in prime form and more than likely worse than that. The Bulls are absolutely pathetic as currently constructed….lonzo wouldn’t change that. He’s a role player, not Michael Jordan

Bulls won’t blow it up the correct word is “Restructure” that’s what “ good” GMs do in the nba they find a away. Bulls been bad for way too long to go back to a full tear down. We knew the lift cycle on this team when we got into it tho it progressed faster downhill too because of injuries . But yea a restructure was always the plan after Demar and Vuc so we will see what’s going to happen this next calendar year.
On the Lonzo front regardless of those supposed teams we beat then we were full strength the team preformed different when he was here and better . Him and Caruso together led this defense to play from the outside in . There were more fast break opportunities which is this teams strength and they aren’t getting that man chances since he’s been gone. He’s a very good defender and turned himself into a high volume efficient shooter. Who knows what that bulls team would have done in the 2nd half of the year but I do think Zo was an important gear for this team more than one wants to admit. So they won’t be best in the nba but I think they would be few games over .500 if he was healthy today possibly .

How do we think we’d be with this version of Jerami Grant instead of Pat at the 4? 23 ppg, mid 40s from 3. Good defense.
I think we would be pretty good if we got this version but again Detroit was asking for two 1st rounders a young player and so on at the time . Then they ended up selling him for way less , in part I think they just didn’t want to give him away to in division team like the bulls thus the crazy asking price. Plus Grant was talking about wanting big big money once his contract was up .
Better but AK was never giving to give up Pat this early for a role player like Grant. This surge from Grant this season is not how he was playing in Detroit and he’s a FA next season. He’ll likely get the max because pretty much anyone with a pulse gets a max in the NBA. Having LaVine being paid max money is bad enough but having to pay max money to both LaVine and Grant?
