Looking at Detroit's schedule they've really played almost every game tough. The only exceptions are against New England and Dallas where they lose by multiple touchdowns.

Now you are starting to see what eagle fans saw in week 1. Detroit has talent. They are probably a few defensive players away from being a playoff team to be honest.

"Just nearly upset" is a microcosm of Campbell's Lions. They're not a dumpster fire like they were under Patricia, but at the end of the day you have to actually win games.
