Being a win now team doesn't hinge on one singular player. If you lose that player and suddenly can't even make the playoffs then it's not a "win now" team.

I will say this. SF fans act like judge is some kind of a vagine and the fans hurt his feelings by booing him. It’s called the Bronx Cheer for a reason. Maybe he is a ***** but I don’t think it bothered him like they wish it did.

Generally that is a very true statement. But in this (Judge) case that statement goes out the window. Without Judge in '22, the Yanks do not make the playoff; wirh him ( and his staying healthy, they did.) ' nough said!

You've just proven my point. If a single player needs to hit 62 home runs and have arguably the greatest non steriod season in baseball for the yankees to win the division by a few games then they are absolutely not a win now team. This is a team with way too many weaknesses for anyone to ever make that claim.
