He's not brought up much but Broderick Jones feels like a guy I could see the Bears targeting with a big trade down to the late teens/early 20s as well. Best athlete in the class for a guy expected to go in the first round.

What about C.J. Gardner-Johnson? Isn't he still a FA?

I can see it. Would be a fine pick in a trade down in that range.

Also on board with CGJ. Give me CGJ and Ngaouke on 1-2 yr deals and would be more than happy going into the draft.

Short of Mack actually being cut and available I don’t care about anyone else as an edge rusher for this team. I wouldn’t complain about Ngaukue. But ya draft someone young with upside in that 50-65 sweet spot we’re in imo.

For sure. Even if they signed Ngaouke, still have to draft an edge within the first 2 rounds
