I’ve been saying for a while that he’s looking at close to $50M if his season continues the way it’s going. He won’t have to win the MVP to get the contract, only be in the conversation. I think they will let Baltimore set the market with Jackson and then that is where the Hurts negotiations will begin.

That would push the Eagles window down the road 2-3 years. By then most of your depth will need new contracts (including Smith). Not to mention there are no guarantees a new QB would be half as good as Hurts. There’s a reason you don’t see teams trading elite young QB’s.
