should be noted he was good in chicago then Jim Boylen took over and told him that he wants more touches he should get more rebounds and basically stopped using him. I do disagree with your defense thing a little bit. he isn't good enough to switch every where, but he can stay with most 3's especially when he has two other bigs to back him up. I do think his natural position if PF though its just that on this team and his last one he needed to play sf. I think his biggest issue is that at 7 feet he doesn't impact the rim like you wish a normal 7 footer could.

there were 58 fouls calls in this game btw. not sure which game you are talking about the pistons vs the wiz game only has 46 for reference. the one vs the cavs only had 43.

So he needs a very specific team behind him to be a decent defender at the 3?

It's not just about the number fouls, it's the manner in which they are called. And those games had the calls happen right as play was starting to gain a flow.

Pat Bev is perfect for a team like the Wolves though. KAT is not a leader at all, like AT ALL. Ant is barely 21, and still learning what being a pro is about in game 54 on the road on a back to back, and while Gobert seems to be somewhat of a leader, a vet who riles crowds up, and holds his teammates accountable is perfect for us. Of course Bev isn't going to work with LeBron, AD, and Russ. Duh

It's been pretty nice watching real team basketball. Not as much iso or trying to force things so someone. Just unfortunate that the Jazz are going to play themselves out of the top couple picks for sure.

Side note, Ben Simmons is such a ****ing joke. That Nets team is such a train wreck, gonna be an entertaining season with Kyrie already yelling at Simmons to shoot the ball🤣
I liked what I saw last week too, but let's see if he can keep this up. Starting the season with some new tools is nothing new, but can he sustain it once scouted?

4 minutes and 3 seconds pascal 1 of 9 elbows to pushoff tonight never called

5 minutes 47 seconds maxey hit in the head deemed a basketball play

9 minutes 22 seconds yet another ****ing elbow pushoff this time on harden who isnt even doing anything and gets called for the foul

This doesnt even show the rest of the ******** siak push offs or the fast break from joel where he was smacked in the head that was deemed a basketball play. Your team is dirty as **** period
Are you talking about the play where he was already falling down and Siakam swiped at the ball but ended up touching his face? You know, because his face was where the ball was a second ago?

Absolutely a lot of games left, but I've been impressed so far.

He's been playing very well for the Cavs so far🤷🏼*♂️
But as I said earlier I have enjoyed watching the true team play. Most assists in franchise history through 5 games. Pretty impressive stuff and seems like coach knows what he is doing.

And I sure hope you're right haha!

Yes, he was trying to get the basketball. If Joel didn’t purposely fall down then he would’ve swiped at the ball. Because he fell, he got his face and a common foul was called.

I actually watched the first highlight you pointed out with Siakam’s dirty (lol) elbow on Tucker at 4:03. First off, there was no extension of Siakam’s arm beyond his elbow. He put a shoulder into him which is perfectly legal. Second, Tucker’s feet were moving so he had not established his space on the defensive end. A no call was the right call but if anything, it’s a defensive foul.

I get that it’s all hard to grasp when you root for a team that usually gets everything called for them. As I originally said, you guys should’ve played to your strength and flopped more.

Hahaha holy crap, you’re actually complaining about common fouls not being called flagrants now. You’ve gone super saiyan with the delusions.

Lauri played his best ball last year ... getting out of Chicago was the start of unlocking his game it seems.

MTM needs something to hold on to. Don't hold it against him, he's desperate.
