i could just show you harden shooting against the bucks/celtics the first 2 games of the season and against the spurs... unless the bucks and celtics are now trash teams with bad defense?

    harden vs celtics

    9-14 fg 5-9 3pfg 35/8/7 with 3 turnovers

harden vs bucks the next night

    13-24 31/8/9 with 2 steals 1 block and 2 turnovers

damn it hurts doesnt it? 3 out of the 4 games against some really top teams harden has been a god... spurs game he shot 4-18 and still put up a ben simmons box score of 12/12/9 with 2 blocks and a steal... trades over kid ... sixers win all day

you have scoots in here making excuses for his recent performance because it was against a bad team but didnt do his homework and realized he was incredible against the bucks/celtics defense. Man up time boys
I knew about all of his performances ... in losses. Winning is what matters. And I blame Doc more than the players ... but I'm not sold the roster behind the top 4 is good enough.

What has Harden's defense looked like? It's always been something he sucks at, and it's great when you are pasting the other team for 30, but not so great when your guy is scoring and setting up easy baskets to negate. It's why Harden has always been a fake star to me.

It’s been passable. He’s giving effort even if he’s not good at it. I think what’s been tough in the early going is asking Tobi to take the second best offensive player and he’s not that great, and meanwhile we need to continually keep House/Melton on the court, meaning Maxey/Harden are the ones coming off. We need a good consolidating trade to get a 3nD starting wing.

    ^^^^^ Of course he’s right.

Speaking of someone saying something to reporters that he shouldn’t have, Kerr said “I remember four or five years ago, when Book was first coming up and Klay was in his prime…….

It's been up and down. Better than his worst, not as good as his best. He still has issues with head turning and lack of hustle from time to time.

I think part of what makes it look bad is Doc isn't playing the best defensive players much at all, and has been hoping limited defenders can hold up when tasked with stopping opposing teams best offensive players.

KAT could also stop losing his mind 10 times a game when the whistle rightly doesn't go his way. He is the biggest baby alive, the refs despise him, and they should. But, KAT is in year 8, he is what he is at this point. A huge baby with mega talent that folds under his own pressure.
Weren't the main questions about Ant pre-draft about his drive to be great/staying in shape/love of the game?

I thought moving KAT to the 4 would help him because he was no longer expected to defend the paint ... guess it didn't make him feel better on offense though.

Ant started both his first 2 years slow, and he has shown he can dominate, so hopefully the motivation level picks up.

Yeah, KAT is skilled, and produces, but I just can't stand him usually. Cries and whines relentlessly, gets in his own head, and while he is a great player, he is also working back from apparently a pretty tough illness just prior to the season. He looks skinny, and has no legs under him yet.

I hate to panic at 2-2, but its how we looked the other night. You don't go down 30 at home against the Spurs if you claim you are going to contend. Needing time to gel or not, the effort level and focus has been terrible.

We need Pat Bev back haha
