Judge would have to be stupid not to wait at least until SF makes their offer. Apparently they haven't even made one yet. Why leave money on the table and in a billionaires pocket when it could be yours by waiting an extra couple of days? Judge is doing nothing wrong. As usual he is being smart.

Send the Marlins Torres, Volpe, Peraza, Schmidt and a Cabrera and get Alcantara to be the #2.

Stay competitive? Is that all this is about? It seems that people are willing to sacrifice the future to stay competitive in the next two years.

By stay competitive, that means make the playoffs but not really being a WS contender. Make the playoffs, get their ***** handed to them, maintain the status quo.

It doesn’t matter. Hal has to beat whatever the Giants offer. And he will….It it so easy to figure out. He is one of those Yankee for life players. Jeter, Posada, Mo, Mantle, Guidry, ect…..Judge is not going anywhere but in Yankee pinstripes. Hal just has to wait and see what he has to beat and the check will be signed immediately.

You can’t assume Hal will be like he was by passing on Harper, Correa and Machado. They were not Yankee players. Judge is different. He would get so much backlash if he ever let Judge walk.

Day, you are reading into this way too much. Hal is screwed. He is not going to let the Yankee crumble to the ground. He willow have to pay Judge and whatever other players they need to get through the 2023 season and try to get ahead of the Astros.

I guarantee you that Judge is a Yankee again. How much is coming off of the books after the 2023 season?

They won't get much of anything in return, but it would free up 22m AAV

If Stanton want's out, who else will ask out? At that point I think you try and move Rizzo around the traded deadline and reset
Tell Stanton to not let the door hit him in the arse on the way out

Most teams who sign that guy end up getting burned pretty badly.
Who’s “we” that’s going to 360? I hope we (meaning the team) don’t go to 360. I’d let him go get that elsewhere

Good for Stanton. Tell him to stay healthy just once. And tell him to tell Judge that if he hit at all this postseason, we could have been champions.

What exactly are they waiting for? Maybe their offer isn’t as big as Judge hoped. Or they did, but he’s not saying anything, to try and get the Yankees to up the numbers

Yeah, if SF hasn't made an offer then I am not sure what exactly they are waiting for. If they did, then Judge can take all the time in the world because he has nothing to lose.

McGriff was voted into the HOF unanimously with all 16 voters voting for him. Mattingly finished 2nd with 8 votes. Real good showing for the Hitman.

Imo, If his back didn't betray him Donnie BB is a first ballot selection. I agree a good showing. He finished ahead of several good players, Curt Schilling (7 votes) and Dale Murphy (6).

FWIW Fewer than four votes: Albert Belle, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Rafael Palmeiro.
