What we could of had for a rotation

    1. Cole
    2. Castillo
    3. Rodon
    4. Cortes
    5. Sevy

Now that is how you win championships.

Yankees’ left field hole created once Jackson (Clint) Frazier didn’t work out
    By Dan Martin
    January 29, 2023 3:16am Updated

One of the reasons the Yankees are still in the market for a left fielder is that Jackson Frazier’s attempt to secure the spot was unsuccessful.

Frazier, released by the Yankees last offseason and by the Cubs following this past year, has finally landed with another team, as he signed a minor league deal with the Rangers on Friday.

They wouldn't have Rodon if they had added Castillo.

    I hate the Montas deal..

BUT, if we are being honest, to say they haven’t put a rotation (on paper, anyways) that should be capable of going all the way, is just not fair.

Besides the bullpen issues, mostly due to injury, the pitching staff held up their end last season. And the staff should be better all around, this year

I agree, I don't think any of us here at PSD were happy about the Montas deal. As suggested, can't be too upset with that rotation.

ps. My primary issue with the deal I thought they gave up a bit too much.

The Yankees’ agreement with Gleyber Torres is for $9.95M - right between where Torres and the Yankees were asking. Yankees go another year avoiding a potentially contentious arbitration hearing.

Do you think every player on every team is good? There are litters of guys on every team who aren't good.

even if we had such a rotation you still have to hit in the playoffs and the yankees for years have shown a inability to hit and get clutch hits in the post season and we got basically the same lineup so i do not see any parades down the canyon of heroes anytime soon..

Yankee dynasty rotations were terrific. We need to get back to that.
