This is either a lot of smoke, or he is basically a giant.

Based on things Judge has said, it seems like he's not really interested in being a Yankee, more like he's using them to drive up the price.

Based on how the Yankees organization is currently run, I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to come back.

If they lost Judge is it feasible they sign Correa, Nimmo, Rodon and trade for Reynolds. Assuming Torres goes out that leaves us with:

C Trevino
1B Rizzo
2B Volpe
3B Correa
SS Peraza
LF Nimmo
CF Bader
RF Reynolds
DH Stanton

Bench you go with a backup catcher, IKF, Cabrera and then either a 4th OF (Florial?) or maybe a bench bat like Carpenter back

Assuming Hicks and Donaldson are moved to save whatever you can.

I had a funny thought. Imagine if Judge decided after the way cashman acted last year, he was going give the Yankees the ultimate troll.
He was always going to SF but just wanted to make the Yankees jump through hoops, beg, plead for him to say yes, and right after he does, he says, "oh and Psyche!"
