Byron fined 50k for the under caution incident plus a 25 point penalty. Which takes him from 17 points up on the cut off to 8 under.

Gibbs fined 75k for his pit road baby ********. Should be parked for a race.

Alex Bowman out with a concussion after his wreck at Texas, even though he finished the race. Noah Gragson to substitute.

I'm sure teams/owners/drivers etc..wouldn't be thrilled with this...

    But..

Wonder if they're gonna start doing tests if someone has a good hit but able to continue to race / compete

Maybe a system within the vehicles and helmets that measures the forces of crash in the car and if it's over a threshold they have to have a neuro exam. This would happen on Pit road during the caution and would not cause anymore loss of positions during the neuro exam.

Just spit balling, not sure what a solution is, or if this is a good one. Just random thoughts. With an increases understanding of CTE and it's long term effects and drivers wanting better safety..something has to give. These cars are too stuff.

Something like Indy cars system. I think nascar had a beta system that uses most pieces?
