Well they did fire him after he won them a Super Bowl.

Not to mention every Eagles fan in here pretty much trashed the guy.

I wonder what QB eagles would have to say about that.

They did lose to Carson Wentz.

Do you get a lifetime contract for winning the SB? I liked Doug but he deserved to be fired. His schemes were stale and everyone was constantly hurt under him. Getting fired may have been the best thing for his career too. I'll gladly take Sirianni over Doug at this point.

They also just blew out the Chargers.

Lifetime contract? It was a just over 2 years after the sb that they fired him.

Did you pay attention to the condition of that chargers team?

With a clearly hobbled Justin Herbert though. Tough to judge them right now but obviously this is a huge step for them as a franchise. Just don't know if they are actually good compared to the rest of the league.

How so? I honestly think both sides wanted a change. Dougs offense was getting super repetitive and his super long practices were leading to a lot of injuries. Howie and Lurie wanted him to change some things but he refused, which is why they let him go.

I appreciate everything pederson did, but it was time to move on. It was the right move for both sides

I'm sure Pederson wanted a change after all the chicanery. Dude won them a super bowl and they pretty much put all the blame on him.

It's like how the Jones family has been throwing McCarthy under the bus except worse with the Eagles cause Pederson won them their only SB with a backup QB. **** him though
