GT 4: Bears @ Giants, 02 Oct 2022, 12 PM CDT, FOX TV

Well, on paper this is a pretty even matchup. Both teams are horrid on D against the run and ok against the pass. Barkley will gash us all game but we will run just as well if Monty is available although Herbert blasted through the Texans with equal ease.
For me it is easy. If Justin shows up for at least one half and plus at an average level with 1 TD pass and we can score another 10 points from running & a FG then we have a shot.

Hard to say though so let's see what happens.

Trade us Kendrick Bourne or Mims already for a low pick

I was just wondering about this. Playing on that turf, I think the Giants defense is going to throw caution to the wind and play fast and loose until the Bears burn them. I think both defenses score, and this won by the least sloppy team by a FG.

Letís hope Lucas can start at center , I wish Larry got demoted to swing tackle and that Riley got the starting RT spot

At this point, if that would help ease Fields, do it.

I would assume that the coaches see Borom as an upgrade over Riley apparently.

    Why?

Borom has been our best pass blocker so far.

Idk larry looks worse than what his grades be suggesting somehow; he has a 66 on PFF . Cody and Tevin are in the green grading wise. Braxton has done an ok job for a rook with his draft status . Maybe it will come better for me sam is gone

I think itís more insurance Because heís a vet and theyíre starting young tackles so if they struggle badly he can come in which makes sense. Theyíre trying to go with the long term upside first

As crazy as it is, SM has played relatively decent. Iím hoping that Patrick replaces him and plays much better. Patrick has actually been the Bearís worst OL according to PFF.

Borom has been inconsistent in pass pro but solid overall. The staff is going to give him time to develop. If he regresses or isnít improving by week 7-8, then maybe we see Reiff (who isnít exactly a sure fire upgrade, tbh).

Letís say we go into the half this week down 1 score, but Fields is playing how heís been playing. Does Flus Trot out Semian?
