Heard Carpenter's most recent imaging was positive, Benintendi's stitches due out in next few days and LeMahieu told me he's close to letting loose to see what his toe can handle. The NYY are potentially getting healthier and will have to make some tough postseason roster calls

I think he hits #61 tonight. He has good career numbers against TBD.

Honestly if I'm Toronto I don't pitch to him at all. It's a huge opportunity for them to get in his head right before the playoffs. He wouldn't get a single pitch to hit all series if I was Toronto. They pretty much have the WC locked up and they can't catch the Yankees at this point. The best they can hope for in this series is to get in Aaron Judge's head. If they can win the series to boot, even better.

This is great news. If you add those three to the lineup, it looks really good, especially with how Torres, Cabrera, and Donaldson have played lately.

1. Judge (normally I disagree with him batting here but they have been winning so I would go with it)
2. Benintendi
3. Torres
4. Rizzo
5. DJ
6. Stanton
7. Bader
8. Trevino
9. Cabrera/IKF

Bench: Carpenter, Donaldson, Higgy, IKF, Cabrera

Sorry: Hicks, Gonzalez, Peraza, Locastro

Last year Gallo, Hicks, and Higgy/Sanchez were automatic outs at the end of the lineup. This year they have better bats and some flexibility with subs at the end of the game. Bader, Beni, Carp, and Bader could make a big difference this year.

If everyone is healthy, DJ, Benni and Carp replace Lo Castro, Gonzalez and Peraza in that order, but they should all be on call if the others can't hack it after playing 3 days in a row and need to be replaced. Oswaldo is the main utility guy, but he can only play one position at a time (LOL). It's too bad Stanton probably can't play at all in the OF.
