Ronald McBull**** needs to stop making **** up. All he’s doing is trying to put black people against the LGBT community. No one is falling for it.

This is ridiculous. How are they just making policy based off their latest culture war and expecting it to be taken seriously?

Conservatives would be fighting to keep lead in gasoline and paint and asbestos in houses if we were trying to get rid of those things now. What a bizarre political identity to choose.

We could get conservatives to support universal health if only we could convince them that Democrats were somehow trying to take it away.

Makes me wonder if DeSantis will actually run for president. If he's going to continue pushing this culture war nonsense, he's going to find it hard to crossover to centrists and moderates. He might not need them to win the presidential nomination but it could be extremely hard to win the presidency if he's going to push further right.

GQP grifters have realized there is a toooooon of money in playing this game with the psycho republican side of america. A presidential bid will bring in massive amounts of money for him. At this point I don't see how he avoids running for president.

Feeding the culture war is good for anyone who wants the nomination on that side. It is a pretty strong indicator that he will be running. The good news is that several clear paths to the presidency exist for Democrats without Florida. All the nutty people from other states have gone there to get their idyllic version of freedum. It's put a lot of other states into play that might not have been before. The Democrats have a decent chance at winning Montana for god sake...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called a special legislative session to finalize the government’s decision to revoke Disney’s control of the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

The state’s legislature voted last year to strip the media company of special taxing and self-governance provisions in the area around its Florida park after the company opposed the controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill that placed widespread restrictions on the discussion of LGBTQ related topics in schools.

“We’re not going to have a corporation controlling its own government,” DeSantis said during a news conference on Thursday. “So the state’s going to have a board to run it. So Disney will not have self-governing status anymore.”

“We’re not going to bend the knee to woke executives in California,” DeSantis added.

It's going to be between this idiot and the cheeto in 2024. Such an embarrassment for this country.

Yes, and he also plays to the massive uneducated base of GQP voters. The eat up the culture war talking points all while he caters to the rich.

Man I feel bad for all the idiots who buy these gas stoves due to the culture war only to get home and not be able to hook them up since there’s virtually no infrastructure for gas stoves.

Not only that but research already shows that gas stoves have a negative affect on health. These fools are literally killing off their base. They did it with their stance on covid, forcing their constituents to get unsafe abortions, putting a gun in everyone's hand, etc. Soon enough, they won't have a base of voters.
