Yes and no. His contract was a 6 year contract with no money due in year 5 and 6 of the deal. They did that so they could push that money back in to this two final years. Not the best thing to do in my opinion. The Cowboys did also say that they will be drafting a QB in this draft. Two early names to keep an eye on Stetson Bennett and Hendon Hooker.

The Combine should determine that. Hendon Hooker is coming off an ACL tear and he’s an older rookie at 25 years old. I think he would have to have an outstanding Combine to get above the 3rd round.

Stetson Bennet i think could be a 3rd round pick too but he had a DWI arrest last month. He also needs to have an outstanding Combine to be a 3rd round pick. More than likely he’s a 4th or 5th round guy.

So far these are just two guys though that make sense for what they’re looking for.

I believe the last time MM called plays was 2012. The Packers were top 5 in offense and made it to the NFC Championship game.

As a Cowboys fan I would expect to see a whole lot more slants and screens.

10 years is an eternity in football and it was with an all time QB who was in his prime at 29 years old
