    Meant to post this.

Bubba signed a multi year extension with 23XL

So, third car or Bush retires to make room for Reddick.

    Thoughts?

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Kurt Busch is done. He was going to be done next year, but this injury is going to fast track it to this year. Reddick into that seat a year early and RCR fills the 8 seat with a free agent.

I've heard speculation TY will be in the 18 car for 2023 and Kyle may end up in the 45.

Also rumors Kyle has an offer from JGR, two chevy teams(my guess is Track House and RCR)and a ford team(stewart-haas only makes sense here from the ford camp)

    All silly season rumors.

Kyle going to the 45 makes a lot of sense. He would lose monster energy to Ty Gibbs, but sponsors like McDonalds, Jordan Brand, maybe can get some Columbia or Dr. Pepper even to share with Bubba.

2311 needs to go to three cars in 2023. Maybe Jordan can buy Live Fast's charter?

I'm sure Kyle has an offer from every team that has an available seat, or can make an available seat. Personally I think hes not going to be in the 18 next year, I think the contract would have been signed by now if he was, and I think if toyota was that set on keeping him, they would just foot the bill and sponsor the car, or at least sponsor enough of it to keep him in the car.

I think manufactures funding of the truck team is coming into play, I think Kurt's sudden retirement has thrown a new wrinkle into it.

Personally I think Kyle ends up at RCR... I know its crazy to think after the history RCR and Kyle has.

    In no suprise.

Kurt Bush is out until the playoffs.

    Can't say I'm surprised

If Blaney and truex win or someone else, bush would be knocked out of playoffs(no pun intended) so its not lock in this silly season.

I could see RCR looking to take Bush from Toyota after he feels Toyota took Reddick from him.

Even though reports are that he wouldn't offer Reddick a multi year deal.

Well its possible Kurt would be knocked out of the playoffs with 2 new winners, if would depend on who the new winners are. The 2 new winners would have to both be ahead of Kurt in the final regular season point standings. The maximum points a driver can earn in a race is 60 (win and win both stages) so anyone thats more than 120 points back wouldnt eliminate Kurt with a win (Todd Gilliland and down). Stenhouse is 24th 75 points back, Keselowski is 27th 92 back.

So Yes, if any combination of Blaney, Truex, Almirola, Jones, Wallace, Dillon, Buescher or Haley, win these final 2, Busch would be out... If Stenhouse, Custer, McDowell, Keselowski or Burton win along with 1 of the group mentioned above, its going to be close because those 5 drivers would need another solid run to pair with the win in order to pass Busch in the points standings

Good hard racing for a win at a road course... nothing wrong with it, however this is now twice Larson has basically roughed up Chase this year racing for a win. Dont expect Elliott to give Larson any breaks in the playoffs
