As they and he should. The they being companies who refuse to work with Trump because he wonít pay. The he being Merrick Garland (via line attorneys) expecting Trump to pay for the document review.

So Judge Cannon makes this goofy order for a Special Master, both sides agree on a sitting federal judge, and now she's overruling the Special Master's orders that Trump's lawyers provide evidence of his claims or disavow them.

It seems like the Court of Appeals is going to get quite a workout from the help Cannon is trying to give Trump from the bench.

This judge sure does love getting smacked around by the 11th circuit court.

Wild how Trumpís words come out of her mouth.

Former President Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to intervene in the dispute over materials the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate this summer.

His emergency request with Supreme Court is the latest example of the former President seeking to involve the justices in investigations that entangle him Ė at a time when the high courtís legitimacy in politically explosive cases is under intense scrutiny.

And it's all coming into focus. Help appoint these judges and then cash in your favors.

I'm betting it's denied without any names attached, but you never know with this court.

A Trump employee has told the FBI about being directed by the former President to move boxes out of a basement storage room to his residence at Mar-a-Lago after Donald Trumpís legal team received a subpoena for any classified documents at the Florida estate, according to a source familiar with the witnessí description.

The FBI also has surveillance footage showing a staffer moving boxes out of the storage room, the source told CNN.

The witness account of Trumpís actions after the subpoena was served in May coupled with the footage could be key to the federal criminal investigation thatís looking into a range of potential crimes, including obstruction, destruction of government records and mishandling of classified information.

    Yup, totally innocent....

And for the clinically insane who still defend him and say things like "rEnT fReE" or "stop talking about him".....he needs to go away in order for him to leave mainstream consciousness. He needs to stop committing crimes for that to happen. He needs to stop grifting and lying for that to happen.

Sending him to jail with his idiotic son and hussy daughter would solve that problem. A few guys washing up in the prison showers with him would be the only ones thinking of him rent-free.

SCOTUS has rejected Trump's request to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents case. Womp womp.

The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to reinstate Judge Aileen Cannonís order that a special master review classified documents taken in an FBI search of Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trumpís Florida home and private club. There were no noted dissents.

The one-sentence order turned aside an emergency request from the former president to intervene in the document review, which is part of an ongoing criminal investigation into the potential mishandling of classified material after Trump left the White House.

Amazing that they did this. You always have to be surprised when these people turn away Trump. But itís a good reminder that despite Donald Trump being the appointing president that these judges are truly McConnell judges.

Don't think many were Trump's judges, but career climbers, and it would be a bad career move to be supportive of Trump in this environment.

After the SCOTUS decision yesterday, the DOJ is asking the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to scrap the whole Special Master order from Judge Cannon.

The Justice Department asked a federal appeals court to reverse a Florida judgeís order appointing a special master to review documents seized from Donald Trumpís home and club, arguing that the former president had no right to possess the seized materials after he left office and that there was no legal basis for an outside review.

While prosecutors had already appealed portions of U.S. District Court Judge Aileen M. Cannonís special master appointment, Friday was the first time they appealed the entire court order. If the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit sides with the government, the special masterís review would stop ó and criminal investigators once again would be permitted to access thousands of unclassified documents that FBI agents took from Mar-a-Lago in August.

The government said in its appeal that those unclassified documents are critical to its ongoing criminal probe of possible mishandling of classified material, obstruction and destruction of government records, and could help them conduct witness interviews and corroborate evidence.

It's hard to see what the logic would be for getting rid of the classified documents portion of it but keeping the rest in place, especially after SCOTUS refused to get involved and let the appeals court order stand regarding that.

The interviews offer unvarnished insights into the former presidentís worldview and are the most extensive recordings of Trump speaking about his presidency ó including explaining his rationale for meeting Kim, his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Trumpís detailed views of the US nuclear arsenal. The audio also shows how Trump decided to share with Woodward the letters Kim wrote to him Ė the letters that helped spark the DOJ investigation into classified documents Trump took to Mar-a-Lago.

ďAnd donít say I gave them to you, okay?Ē Trump told Woodward.

Top notch foreign policy and national security right there.

I would almost like to see Hillary Clinton run in 2024. Just to see how Trump gets shattered on the handling of confidential info. I mean that was literally his only attack on her.
