I respect Reeves for coming forward and saying he didn't want those nicknames.
That said, he's never gonna lose AR15 if he doesn't change his jersey number.
This isn't like a friend or person you know calling you a nickname, where you can simply set a boundary and cut them loose if they don't respect that boundary.
Not gonna be an easy task to shed a nickname that is given by sports media/Fandom. Media will have to come up and assist and even then that will be tough lol

Yep, he is a hick with a number 15 on his chest. Can’t get away from that. Too bad. AR15 is a cool nickname but unfortunately, due to some idiots that have used it against innocent people and children, it’s not a good look for him. I don’t have a problem with HBK. Unless his teammates do. I still want Deliverance.
