[QUOTE=Rush;34391076]I think it also has some to do with having no big names in the lineup.[/QUOTE. Well, you can crunch your numbers and it has value to a point. But, donít we all care more about the next game, the next AB, the next pitch? Big names? Names become big because they are impact players and this is what we are really missing. These type players cost money and we all know how this FO feels about that. Of course you donít want just anything but if that name produces and has this impact, then by all means.

Itís not that they are not likeable, they just donít scare anyone. Just a ho hum middle of the pack team. Nothing to set them apart.

Oh no I'm 100% with you on that. Tough pill to swallow after Rodon pitched the way he did.

Last season we didn't have "big name" players top to bottom, but we still reeled off 107 wins and collectively were the most impactful in the league when no one expected it. Similar to 10' 12' 14' all years we won the World Series.

We are likely to spend big money on "big player(s)" this off-season, so you will probably get your wish.

However maybe you've missed the fact we've went for Stanton, we've went for Harper, and we will probably go for Judge or a very big name this offf-season when you consider how well this FO has positioned us for years to come. Hopefully you understand that aspect

Not to mention the impact players that will be brought in within 5 weeks for the deadline. lol.

Middle of the pack team is simply not true.

We've seen big names frequently don't equate to big production. Just from this offseason we've seen big names such as Semien, Seager, Story, Bryant, Baez, Castellanos, Ray all underperforming.
