Cardinals v. Rays 6/7-6/9

Cardinals are .5 games back and now head to TB for a tough series. June's schedule is not as tough as May's so we should take advantage of the opportunities to catch the Brewers before we face them the week of the 20th for a four game in Milwaukee.

6/7: Hudson v. Springs
6/8: TBD v. Kluber
6/9: Mikolas v. McClanahan

The pen is going to be toast come August if we can’t find some starting pitching..

Flaherty should be back soon but is now a question mark month-to-month health wise. Surprised Woodford has not been used more to fill in.

If the Cardinals are going to make a move for pitching we do have OF organizational depth to trade from. But, I would imagine similar deals like last year e.g. Happ and Lester. Saw some rumblings about the Cardinals keeping an eye on Bumgarner but we'll see seeing he is still owed 35m+ between this year and next. Only benefit of that would be AZ would probably kick in money. Every contender will be in on pitching so depends on how much we are willing to trade/give up.
