Denver going to be good for the next 5 years.

Hopefully no injuries and we get to see his team at full strength.

If they can get a few seasons of MPJ and Murray just being healthy and coming remotely close to their potential, I'm fully convinced they can be the best team in the league. If they can't win a ring over that stretch, the front office or those two guys have failed Jokic.

I would love to see a full strength Nuggets team out there cause I do worry that at the very highest level its going to be impossible for a team with a big like Jokic to ever actually win a title with the way things are. they are just too easily targeted. Now he could be the exception to that, but either way this is a huge deal for the Nuggets if they get it.

The team is essentially stuck with this fundamental team now. They have to get and stay healthy and focus on player development now to stay at their best as long as possible.

well that is how most teams have to do it....

You have a tiny window generally, if you get 3-4 years right and build a team from the ground up. Example- my Wolves have one summer (2023) to do anything outside internal development or trade, since at some point the young guys get paid. This is happening to Denver now.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Yeah. It's about how good the young big money guys on your team are and how they mesh together and the system they are in, then it's about the front office getting cheap players who fit the system and the coaches getting complete buy-in by all the players, and an understanding that roster turnover is going to be a normal part of life.

thats the real question of how much their owner is going to pay on the luxury tax. If he doesn't this team is going to start bleeding depth and will take a turn for worse. if he can pay it and they can keep drafting well they should be pretty good if they can stay healthy.
