The way Wheeler has pitched the last month or so, they probably need Bassitt to give up no more than 2 runs.

Wheeler has really cut down on his walks. If we could keep it close before going to the bullpens, or get him out around 5IP, we'd have the advantage.

Dom Smith was 0 for 3 with a sac fly. Solid game for him. Happy to see him taking positive steps forward.

Very nice and solid game tonight all around. Solid pitching as Walker gutted it out. Halderman pitching another two fabulous innings with ottavino a but shaky and Lugo mowing them down. Just keep piling up those wins and keep the ball rolling.

    Mets starters are now 21-9
    The Bullpen is now 10-8.

The fact that the Starters have relatively few no-decisions in this day and age says something.

No but we've won 3 out of 4 three times and our longest losing streak is 2 which we've done twice.

That's really ****ing good. The sign of a good team.

I really like Holderman's stuff. Plays so well in the majors.

How is that a solid game for him. He would have been 0-4 if not for the sac fly. He is batting under .200. Give me a break. Come on, we all love Dom and hope for him to do better, but let's not make stuff up.

The only thing I can say is that apparently Buck still has faith in Dom, and that is good enough for me. But both Dom and JD eventually have to perform.
