Flo was once our best prospect and someone with the tools and talent that we could dream on, but now he's out of options and for the most part has been an abject failure to launch. I agree with Dayners that he'd make a good 4th OF in place of Hicks, who can't seem to recapture what he's lost. There's no doubt that Flo is a physical specimen with a lot of talent, but I just don't have the overwhelming bromance that some have with him. Plus, in the grand scheme of things, the Yankees might never consider him more than trade bait, in spite of our hopes for him.

Nevertheless, I'm all for giving him a chance and so should the Yankees. What I'd really love to see is the team to trade Gallo, as soon as possible and to finally give Florial a full chance on the roster to see whether he can reach his potential. The fact that he's left handed is a plus, especially if we are going to eliminate Gallo and /or Hicks from the lineup.

I always loved Andujar as a hitter and I was always one of his biggest fans. His career got sidetracked due to injury, circumstances and his inability to master a fielding position. I agree with Stanton out he should get the opportunity to DH, first to contribute to the team's success, but also to showcase for a DH spot on another team.

Some of you guys are F'ckin lemmings. The first sign of adversity and you abandon ship.

Adversity tests character, shows what this team is made of....or not.

BTW I believe they won last night in 11.

This moment and the ones to come are why I have withheld my judgment of this team.

I will be very surprised if DJ is in the lineup in 2 days. I think he will be down for a bit and if not it will affect him. Stanton, you are likely right 2-4 week range depending on severity.

The last few seasons, guys stepped up, so I hope Flo take this chance a d makes the best of it.
Yea, your correct. I may have overreacted a bit.

But yes, players have to step up. The depth of the position players will be tested this week vs the Rays. Andujar, Flo, ect have a chance to do what the backups did for the 98 Yankees, that is produce and keep the fort intact.

Just disappointed. I want a fully healthy squad, especially Judge and Stanton intact all season. I wanted to see a possible 61 season with the M&M boys.

As long as Judge stays healthy he can carry the entire team( offense)for a month or two. Judge is having a special season.

We might see 60 HRs from him if he stays healthy and avoid long slumps.

Hal just needs to give in and back up the Brinks Truck and make him the King of NYC. I was always sour with Judge because of injury issues. 2022is different. He looks locked in. He looks so good when batting. You can just see if he gets one in his wheel house that he is going to crush that ball.

Nicky we ALL would like things to go well with minimal bumps in the road, however we all know the reality suggests otherwise. This squad has some magic of their own.

Well the 4 game series vs the Rays could be a do or die Series. And yes die. If Rays continue to beat our ***** the confidence level drops when playing them and before you know it they are 15-3 vs us with the season series. We have to at least split this series or try to get 3 victories to show them who is boss.

This JP dude is a strikeout artist. Wow! Look at his Kís per 9 in the minors. Pretty damn good.

Maybe he could be the new Guidry. Guidry got a late start with his career. JP might be the guy that finally replaces Guidry.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "do or die", it certainly will test their mettle. Division rival nipping at their heels, the pressure will be on no question.
