Trevino is looking better and better. His best role is still as a backup, but a hell of one at that. That is still a quality find for us.

We've been incredibly hot since the start of the season and being healthy has been a huge part of that. Every team goes ice cold during a season, usually multiple times. This is our first stretch of adversity, we're going to see what this team is made of.

I think what were really going to find out now is what we really need to trade for in the next 6-8 weeks

IMO the BP isn't that hard to fix with the arms we have in the system. German is working his way back and has always been solid out of the BP with how much his stuff plays up in shorter outings. Sears, even though he is starting tomorrow, can play a role in the BP. Wesneski, who has looked dominate in AAA, can come up and fill a big role in the BP. The WC might be Medina, we know the stuff is elite and is already on the 40 man, maybe they bring him up and see what he could do in the BP.

The rotation is still very, very good

A win tonight would do a lot for their confidence and might not let things spiral out of control. Donaldson should be back soon and he will be a big boost if he keeps hitting. Maybe they need to give Andujar a shot at DH if Stanton goes on the IL. His bat has the most potential of anyone at AAA at the moment IMO.
