Nestor toyed with the Chicago lineup on Sunday afternoon, picking up his second win of the year with his performance. Cortes lowered his ERA to 1.35, the 2nd best mark among qualified pitchers behind only Miami's Pablo Lopez.

Luis Severino pitched six innings Monday, allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out seven in the Yankees' 6-2 win.
Luis Severino's only hiccup came in the 4th inning when Anthony Santander took him deep for a solo home run. Severino improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 against Baltimore. Monday marked Severino's first quality start of 2022 and he now has 38 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings.

Jameson Taillon pitched five innings, giving up three runs on six hits and one walk, while striking out two in New York's 5-4 win in Baltimore on Tuesday night.
Jameson Taillon made it through the minimum five innings and New York's bullpen held on just enough for him to improve to 4-1 through his first seven starts. Taillon has been solid for the Yankees in the middle of their rotation this year, making it though at least 5 innings in five of his seven starts and the three runs he allowed Tuesday were a season high. Sports 27 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings , 3.28 ERA and 4-1.
