I just don't seem him making a blatant racial slur. He take pride in being a leader and if he said something like that, alot of his current teammates would lose a lot of respect for him. I hope that it's not true

That i completely can see him doing, JD saying it to get under the guys skin and try to distract him from the game on hand. Since he called himself the modern day Jackie Robinson, I really don't see JD calling him "Jackie" as a racist comment, maybe I'm wrong.

I see that more as a dig toward Anderson thinking he is that caliber of a player and JD trying to get him out of his element. I see that more as a gamer, trying to get an advantage. Something JD has been very good at doing throughout his career.

I thought it was interesting to know last yr when JD hit a HR of Giolito, yelling that the ball isn't sticky anymore. Makes a lot of sense why there has been tension between JD and the W Suxs since the 1st series this yr

Taillon is now going to start game 1 tomorrow. I haven't heard who they plan on starting game 2, but with the injuries to Green and Gil opening up 40 man spots, it wouldn't surprise me if Wesneski got a call up soon to make a spot start

Jackie Robinson is on a whole nother level of human being for what he had to go through and for how many doors he opened for so many people.

My question is this. What makes Tim Anderson the “modern day Jackie Robinson?” If you’re going to give yourself a nickname that bears Jackie’s name, I’d like to know why? Tell us Tim what makes YOU the modern day Jackie Robinson?

One more thing ,,,the only thing I hate worse than racism is the race card

At a guess I think Anderson is comparing the way he and Jackie produce. Either way, I wouldn't know why he would take offense at JD calling him "jackie," if that's what he calls himself. JD is an instigator and loudmouth, Anderson is a thin skinned *****.
