I feel like you could get millions of guns off of the street if you did a nationwide buy back. Thousand bucks for every gun turned over. I don’t know if that’s enough money, but up it until it is. Invest in the country the same way that defense is invested in.

Somewhere on the dark Internet people are trading extremely graphic videos in places that most don’t know exist. So that means we shouldn’t pay a little more attention to Facebook? That makes absolutely no sense.

Sure pay more attention to Facebook, but they have 2.93 billion monthly users. They have tens of millions of posts a minute. I’ve worked tangentially with signint, blanket data collection of such a large platform is difficult, particularly when you don’t have access to the software of the company.

Not to mention, we are opening a while can of worms if we are now advocating the government to monitor everyone and punish them criminally for posts, which traditionally are considered freedoms of speech.

I wasn’t suggesting punishment. I understand it’s an ambitious though, but like I said, just searching for ways to prevent these tragedies.

Stories are, unsurprisingly, pouring in from people who knew the Ramos kid and witnessed violent, aggressive, and anti-social tendencies. The question now becomes, what do we do to find these people and what do we do with them? Because even if this kid couldn’t get his hands on a gun, he was probably going to end up raping and killing someone given the many stories about his behavior toward women.

Also, FWIW, Facebook banned Trump citing public safety concerns, but this kid was all over the Internet on several social media platforms including Facebook and various other places displaying behavior that actually should have raised concern for public safety.

Damn poor little hands

I do t know if anybody has posted the video of a teen I belief he is 15 trying to buy alcohol and is denied, trying to buy cigarettes and is denied, trying to buy lotto tickets and is denied, trying to buy porn and is denied but goes to a gun show and legally buys a hand gun.
