The Rangers vs Penguins opening round has been a slobber knocker!
Game 1: Igor stoped 79 shots but it's not enough. Pens 1-0
Game 2: Rangers answer. Even the Series 1-1
Game 3: Igor pulled 0-2. Rangers fight back to tie it but the Pens take the game. Pens 2-1.
Game 4: Rangers fall behind early again but this time, it's all Pens. Pens 3-1.
Game 5: Rangers back against the wall. Crosby gets hurt. Rangers rally. Pens 3-2.
Game 6: Rangers rally again but this time get the win and force Game 7.
Game 7: MSG. There is history to be written.

Rangers better tighten up their 5 on 5 play and their special teams in this series. You're not doing what you did to Pittsburgh against Carolina. Would love to see them take at least one of these first two in Carolina.

In typical Rangers fashion, they pretend that they are protecting a four goal lead when it was in fact only a one goal game and they end up losing in OT

Rangers gave Carolina Game 1. Playing conservative in the 3rd was the WORST decision. This is not the 90s Devils. Giving teams all period to apply pressure and hoping to maintain a shut out was foolishness.

After dropping 0-2, the Rangers came right back and evened the series 2-2 but Carolina is undefeated at home. Pivotal Game 5.

Must win game 5,keep the momentum going.
Goodrow is skating in a non-contact jersey could be back soon (Sammy Blais has been skating for 2weeks but he is no way near coming back). Big question is who gets benched when Goodrow is ready?

Home ice is great too. Obviously, Tampa is rested and battled tested. Should be a fun series with Vasi vs Igor. Let's hope the #NoQuitInNY# can keep the train rolling.
