I love how there's always some little league umpire in there defending the difficulty of the job

Kirk and Trevino Allstar finalists at catcher just as everyone predicted before the season started.

Can't wait. **** Angel Hernandez, CB Bucknor, etc. They have no business calling balls and strikes.

I do wonder what happens when the computer messes up and calls a pitch in the other batters box a strike, what happens? Can they manually override blatantly wrong calls?

I mean will they treat it any differently than how they treat when umpires miss balls and strikes? I doubt everything is going to be reviewable. Maybe you get one additional challenge a game but even that is unlikely. The computerized strike zone will be far more accurate than the umpire's.

Oh for sure it will be more accurate. But I have to imagine at some point there will be a pitch 3 feet outside called a strike, or right down the middle called a ball, just from electronics glitching.

I know wins are outdated, but Tony Gonsolin leads baseball with a perfect 10-0 record.

This guy was drafted at the end of the 9th round in 2016 and signed for $2,500.

Who did you're teams draft in the 9th round that year?

Other 9th Rounders from that year to make the majors (so far)

    Colin Holdermen of the Mets

    Ryan Hartman of the Astros

    Caleb Baragar of the Giants.
