Arcia's injury didn't look good and he said he heard a pop. Possibility he's done for the year. Hopefully Albies is back before the end of the month.

Braden Shewmake is injured, so he's not going to be an option. I'm not sure the extent of the injury.

I know a retread veteran who's at the end of his career is never a popular choice but, if you are into nostalgia, Andrelton Simmons is available and has played some 2B recently. His recent production at the plate, though, has been horrid.

This is why I wanted Flores (SF) at the deadline. He gave ATL a good starting option in case of injury and was a rental. This offense has now lost 2 starters in a week (one already a backup) and the Mets lead in the East is now at 7.5 games. The Wildcard lead has almost been cut in half, too. Having a guy like Flores right now would feel a lot better than Grissom.

SF didn't sell anyways because they are in the race so you where not going to be able to get him anyway.

SF didnít buy or sell. And ďin the raceĒ is a generous term - the are 7.5 back of the final wild card spot. If they thought they were in the race, they needed to upgrade. They didnít do that at all (exchanged Ruf for Davis).

Flores may not have been available, but rumors were SF was willing to sell on the right deal. I canít find the article, but I know I read it because I immediately thought of Flores.

Vaughn Grissom homered over the monster for first career hit. That's awesome!
