The Virginia government website doesn't say other than that they were rejected.

The amendment in question was proposed by Schuyler VanValkenburg, a Democrat. So it is unlikely that Democrats are the ones who voted against it, but because they don't have that information I can't explicitly confirm it was Republicans.

Is this going to be like how Democrats were losing Hispanic support after Biden won only to find out that McAullife still got almost exactly the same level of support when the election happened? Because there was all this talk about how Hispanic voters were abandoning the Democrats and then when the election actually happened and we saw that was fake news, the talking point got dropped ASAP on the right.

He’s losing a lot of support until he’s not. Every cycle the GOP acts like they’re changing and then double down on that old white magic and never make any progress.
