You just said "Manram wants everything nationalized and it has nothing to do with the price of gas" and then are now yelling at me for not talking about the same issue? I've moved on, because there was nothing there to discuss.

Instead, today, I made a few posts about a more general issue I see with how right-wingers constantly pretend like Biden and Democrats are infinitely further to the left than they actually are. And then...whatever this is happened. You haven't addressed anything I've said about anything related to that, yet keep responding to the posts I'm making about that issue. It's insane. I could have a more worthwhile discussion with a baboon.

I'm still even more confused about what point you're trying to make.

What do you want out of me? Genuinely confused.
    I was humoring you.

I'm supposed to believe PSD's number one Karl Marx fan was clamoring for oil nationalization because he was concerned about the price of oil...

You just want to use the situation to spout off your socialist bs, lol.

You're not humoring me because you aren't addressing literally anything I'm saying, or telling me what you want me to talk about. I think you just want me to say "I really, really want to nationalize everything in this country because I'm a filthy Communist". I hate to break it to you, but I don't. I've never talked about nationalizing the oil industry before, and probably won't ever again. I'm trying to talk about other things. I've moved on. Largely, because no one else was responding to me with anything of substance. No one said "here's why it's bad". You certainly didn't. But here you are...wanting me to keep talking about it? I've moved on. My posts today have nothing to do with that issue. If you want me to keep talking about it...well, give me something to work with

We've wasted each other's time. If you want to have a discussion about anything, feel free to. Perhaps ask a question! Maybe you consider answer a question! How about addressing the content in the posts you're quoting! Anything. Until then, I've learned my lesson. There is no point in trying to conversate with you. You just want to tell me I'm an evil communist or whatever. Have at it. I'm here to discuss, debate, argue actual politics whenever you're ready.

Last thing for tonight, and sorry for all the babbling. Blame fingerbang!

Even if I were a Communist who wanted everything to be under collective/state control, we are so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so far away from achieving that that it would probably just feel like a waste of time to bring it up constantly. It's truly not achievable. It's unrealistic. Whether it's good or not, it's not happening.

I just want universal health care man. I just want to stop funneling all our tax money to the military and police. I just want to seriously attempt to combat and prepare for climate change. I just want the richest country in the world to feel like that for every American, and not just a tiny percentage. I don't need everything nationalized I just want something.

And I think that's why a lot of us have problems defining what we are. Or assigning labels to our beliefs. It's hard when everything feels so unattainable because of the current political structure in this country. I'll take anything!!!!

But yeah yeah yeah I'm Hugo Chavez LOL I suck I'm the worst yadadada. Good talk as always, weirdos.

You'll be having a few friends over for dinner. Unfortunately, because of famine, you only have enough stale bread and cabbage soup to invite four guests. Who do you invite?

    Bernie Sanders
    AOC
    Justin Trudeau
    Greta Thunberg
    Jane Fonda
    Jussie Smollett

    Probably Jane Fonda or Bernie.

Jussie Smollett means absolutely nothing to me. I don't know why you'd think I'd want to talk to him. While I appreciate what Greta is advocating for, I don't think it would be terribly interesting. Bernie over AOC, for sure.

But Jane Fonda owns. She has more bravery and courage in her than any politician you support. She was right about Vietnam and got treated worse than any public figure in recent memory. Her conviction in what she believes in is inspirational. She is a great advocate for many great things, no matter how much you want to roll your eyes at. At the very least, she doesn't spend all day attacking the marginalized and poor like your faves. She is one of the very, very, very few Hollywood celebs that isn't just some boring as Neolib, appealing to the all the talking points you'd roll your eyes at. She walks the walk.

Fonda. Thanks for actually trying to have a discussion! Even if, again, it has nothing to do with anything I've been posting about!

I'm not going to pretend like I know who some of your most admitted people are. I mostly just know all the things you hate and think are evil. Who is someone political/political-adjacent you'd most like to have dinner with?

You know there's a good argument to be made that if Ukraine didn't have a military, they might actually be winning the war right now.

    Oh wait, no there isn't.

Maybe when your party stops labeling republicans racist when we donít vote for a democrat we can talk about some of those things.

Donít come at us though when you have sitting members of Congress calling Musk racist for voting a latino congresswoman

That these things are crazy notions that make you a communist is emblematic of how ****ed our political discourse is.

Almost as much as Hugo Chavez. Two people that have nothing to do with US governance.

The fact that those three words can be said while maintaining a straight face is baffling.
