Bush actually ran against this **** back in 99-00 but after he got elected, this along with a bunch of other **** went out the window after 9/11.
So the people only stopped being properly vetted for loans 20 years after Clinton? The loosened regulations didn’t cause a housing crisis in the 90’s or early 00’s for absolutely no reason?

Come on man get better talking points.

Wouldn't you love to have a couple of drinks with Biden's secret service detail and get in on what it is actually like dealing with this clown and his inner Circle. Probably the only stories better than the detail charged with dealing with Hilary.
Might be almost as entertaining as hearing your orderly's stories about feeding you and changing your diapers.

“The banks didn’t even want to give out these loans but the government made them” may be the most inventive BS argument I’ve heard.

You’re saying the banks have all those loans out against their will?

And for the first 20 years, the loans were harmless to the economy.

Clinton passed that after his second term, it takes a while for a problem to snow ball like it did.

There were pieces in the NYT prediciting the exact crash and how it would happen 10 years before it did.

For these loans to have the effect on the economy they did, they had to build up over time. It's not something that's going to just happen after a year.

No, inflation doesn't really work like that.

    Inflation can move really quickly.

And the banks were against this idea every step of the way were they?

But the things that lead up to inflation take time to result in inflation. For example, the supply issues did not happen overnight.

Things move at whatever speed they need to blame whomever they want to blame. The housing market was perfectly fine for 20 years and then WHAM it **** the bed.

I have a friend who was a Democrat congressman out here. He and I talked about this as it was going on. Joe and I both knew that the bubble was going to break. Loans were being doled out like free lunch to people who did not have the safety net if one of them lost their job or bein able to afford the loans once teh gimmick interest rates expired. It was one of the reasons why Joe got redistricted and lost the Dem primary to AOC types. He was one of the last blue Dog Dems.

The banks were corrupt as well and were the only people bailed out by this bad policy. And both the Dems and many Rinos as well were lowlives in all of this also.
