I'm pumped for this. Obviously I'm a complete rube but he was my number one choice. Now let's hire a stud coach and knock this draft out of the park.

Quinn staying with the Cowboys, Hackett to Denver, and the Bears signed a dude I've never heard of whose defense apparently blows a ton of leads. This coaching search is shaping up nicely.

Okay so here's one thing I'm really excited about. Spielman STRUCK OUT on CB's during his tenure as the Vikings GM, however

    Dalvin Cook
    Justin Jefferson
    Adam Thielen
    Stefon Diggs
    Irv Smith
    Danielle Hunter
    Everson Griffen
    Erik Kendricks
    Anthony Barr
    Harrison Smith
    Brian O'Neill

So many young promising players in Darrisaw, Cleveland, Osborn, Wonnum, Willikes, Bynum.

For the most part during Spielmans tenure, he has given us a TALENTED roster, with just some crucial misses at key positions. The news came out last night that Adofo is planning on keeping a majority of the existing scouting department.

I LOVE this. We have scouted and drafted at an extremely high level, for the most part. Keep that up, fix the holes/misses, and we can go somewhere.

So we're all anxious to know who our next HC will be, or even see movement on the situation now with Kwesi officially hired........but let's think about it

You're Kwesi. You just got the biggest promotion of your life. But currently your wife and kids live in Cleveland and, while they may have been prepared mentally for a move, they didn't know for sure one would happen nor know where it would be to.............so you've got all that in your life, too- uproot your kids mid-school year, find a new place to live, and sell whatever house you're in.

While he may have his wife in charge of some of it, movers paid to pack him up, it's still a lot to deal with......while everybody in the organization is waiting to shove information about the organization, prior HC interviews, etc at you and every Vikings fan is waiting for you to come to a decision you didn't even know was yours until Tuesday.

Wonnum is terrible. He had one of the worst pass rush win rates in the NFL. Pretty sure most of or all of his 8 sacks he was unblocked. 5 or 6 came against Fields and Dalton. He's also terrible against the run. There was a video from the week 18 game where Jimmy Graham drove Wonnum like 8 yards down the field run blocking. Jimmy freaking Graham. The only thing Wonnum has going for him is that he hustles. Other than that he's awful.

Giants DC Patrick Graham interviewing for the Vikings HC. Some are speculating it might be to eventually become the Vikings DC.

one can only hope that if the Giants didn't want him as their HC, we shouldn't either......DC, OK (but if we don't know who the HC is, we also aren't actually picking their coordinators)
