He says he doesn't want to go into a rebuild.

He would only play for his hometown team if he does leave but the 49ers already chose Jimmy over Brady when he wanted to go back home. Will they be stupid enough to say no again?

GB should demand Trey Lance which they won't need anymore plus their special teams coaches. Love was a bust at Utah and he's a bust now so Trey will be their franchise QB as they rebuild for the future while the 49ers should be heavy favorites to win a SB or two. It's a win win scenario.

The giants have no cap space and are 3 years away from being competitive.

San Fran makes a lot of sense.
More sure that he is gone than about where heís headed. Hard for him to not take some blame on this one. Defense did their job. 49ers have his number.

those have become intolerable....he's such a horrible actor and that premise is beyond old (fortunately it appears they're working the Rodgers rate/Patrick price thing to a conclusion)

sidebar being...Jake from State Farm, Flo from Progressive, Lilly from AT&T, whatever her name is from Toyota....all actors that otherwise failed, yet how much money have they made now?!
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

oh, I could easily see them trading Jimmy to make way for a year of AHole and a year for Lance to watch him.....even if it somewhat turns Trey INTO Jimmy (ready to play but stuck behind a guy not ready to quit)

I don't know if they still can after this playoff run. Maybe after one more year. Too much pressure to put on Lance. If he sucks the fans will turn on him
