I don’t think this is accurate. The titans opponents are currently 136-132-6. Saints opponents are 137-148. I don’t think it goes off of win total, but win percentage. So there’s a 15 win difference but the titans also have all those ties so to have a higher strength of schedule I think all of the saints opponents would need to win their games this week and the titans opponents would all need to lose.

That being said, it doesn’t look like it’ll matter because the titans lost and if the saints win, the saints will drop a bit based on their own win/lose total.

I did the math, the saints pick will be #10. The difference can’t be made up by Tennessee’s opponents. The big media guys will announce it later when all the games are finished but based on what I’m seeing, it’s already official.

#10 is a great spot to be

The 10th pick is so valuable. So many options for the Eagles. They can take the best corner, draft a replacement for Lane, trade down to get additional picks or a splashy move is to draft WR Quentin Johnston and move Devonta to the slot

The Eagles need to find their rhythm....the past 3-4 week (I know injuries play a part) have not looked like the team in the first 14-15 weeks of the season. The coaching staff has had very questionable gameplans on both sides of the ball. Defense plays far too much soft zone....the offense abandons the run for very long periods, especially against weak run defense teams (aka New Orleans) and becomes addicted to the passing game....

They got an extra week off....they have to get back to what they had. Getting guys back healthy will be step one, but if the coaching staff continues this strange game planning the Eagles could struggle in the playoffs.

My hope is someone like Myles Murphy, or Bryan Bresee falls far enough for the Eagles to take, but it's a large if. Kelee Ringo/Cam Smith right now would be my top picks for a CB (without seeing the combine). Tyree Wilson is an interesting prospect since he has all the physical traits, but is raw so could see him being someone who works his way up during the combine

Cam Smith, Christian Gonzalez, Phillip Clark are my man crushes for CBs I hope we take because these guys have elite traits.
Heavy pass on Ringo. Us being ahead of titans is a good thing for a team needing WR and is worried about them poaching someone to move into our spot. I expect us with all the FAs we have to trade back and get extra 3rd and 4th rounders.

Doesn't have to be Lanes replacement per say but we need to draft a tackle for sure soon within next 2 years. Dillard is a FA, Driscoll is solid but we need depth there.

I haven't seen/heard much on Christian Gonzalez since my west coast prospect knowledge is lacking. I've seen his name pop up for one of the top CBs though, so I'm sure he'd be a good player to have as well. Wouldn't be my top choice, but I wouldn't be super shocked if the Eagles took an OT in the first either

IF the Eagles are able to bring back CJGJ and/or Bradberry next season....

As far as #10 goes....if they go Offense....Peter Skoronski (OT) from Northwestern - Driscoll has been below average in filling in for Lane. Defense....Nolan Smith (EDGE) from Georgia.....

Late 1st Round - If OL is addresses I'd like to see BJ Ojulari (EDGE) from LSU or either Joey Porter Jr., PSU or Christian Gonzalez (OR) both CBs......or if they went DL I'd like to see Broderick Jones (OT) from Georgia.

I'm not ruling out Howie moving down from 10 to the mid-teens and picking up an extra 2 or 3....and possibly another future 1st....it'll be interesting to see what Howie will do with his draft capital this offseason.

So after today, it's looking like we're going to end up with the max 4 picks next year haha...Javon Hargrave signed for 4 years $21M APY, Dillard got 3 years ~$9.75M APY, Edwards only got 3 years $6.5 APY...on the first day. That's likely going to only be the start of it with guys like Bradberry, CJG, and Miles Sanders about to get paid. It is possible we get CJG back and maybe even Bradberry if Howie can waive his wand around enough. We shall see.

On another note, someone should make a 2023 draft/offseason thread. lol

So we are going to have 4 comp picks next year added to our pool... That means as of this moment, we have our own picks in rounds 1-6 (except the 6th is the better pick between ours and the Titans'). We also will have an extra 2nd (Saints), 3rd (comp), and 4 extra 5ths (3 comps and 1 from the Vikings). The comps are projected and likely.

Currently our cap space is somewhere between $14M-$16M before Evans and Morrow hit the cap. I'm not sure if Mariota is on there either. Their cap hits will likely combine for around $4M-$5M. We only need about $2.5M-$3M for draft picks this year. That means we likely have between $6M-$9.5M in space right now to play with. We can also get about $10M+ for a Lane Johnson restructure.

My hope it is to grab Wagner to give our LB corps some experience. I wouldn't mind seeing Mills come back...but my hope in the draft is complicated...

I would like to see us trade back in the first round from our 10th pick and try to pick up an extra 1st next year (unless Jalen Carter falls to us). There are a lot of players that can be impact players in the 10-20 range and even beyond. I think one of my main hopes is to get Brian Branch...that being said we can probably trade back into the 20s and get him if we really wanted to. Other guys that would be later first rounders would be Kancey, Bijan Robinson, McDonald, and even Witherspoon has fallen in some recent mocks.

I read the 14M factors in everything already including the allotted amount for draft picks.
I'm soo on board for Wagner too, since we lost CJGJ too.
I also think he's waiting to see if someone like Byard gets cut or tries trading for him. We still can free up 2M by cutting Quez, which I'm shocked hasn't happened yet because he's doodoo.

I also agree unless Carter falls almost assuredly we will drop back from 10 because we don't have any picks in 4 5 6 I believe. 4 picks in top 100 then 2 7th round picks i.believe.

Next season the Eagles have a "projected" 12 picks in the draft. More then likely, they won't be using them all. They have plenty of ammo to upgrade their roster in bulk.

This year....with their selections being limited I could see them moving back in the first round to pick up a couple additional picks. Also, because of the amount of picks in hand next season, I won't be surprised if Howie goes off script one time and selects Bijan Robinson in the first round. The offense could be pretty damn scary with that guy in the backfield. LB and S should be their next positions of focus in the draft.
