Giants Coach John Egorugwu was with the Bills (Brian Daboll) for four seasons (2017-20) as a defensive quality control coach & assistant LB coach, and with the Baltimore Ravens (Wink Martindale) for two years (2015-16) as a staff assistant, working primarily with the linebackers.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Schoen and Dabboll are really assembling a high quality coaching staff.

    Absolutely love what theyíre doing.

Really curious to see how they handle the roster after the super bowl.

Based on all these hires. I truly believe Schoen was given a lot of power within the organization.

Absolutely. Mara finally did the right thing and he deserves credit for that.

On the D side I really expect some significant roster movement. I think Bradberry is as good as gone now with Martindale here. I can totally see them taking a DB in the first 3 rounds now.

But I think the big change we will see is getting rid of slow plodding and larger players for guys who are extremely fast and athletic up and down the D. Martindale needs athletes with play versatility and Iím excitable about seeing a fast paced defense on display weekly.

If as you say Bradberry is good as gone , why wouldn't you try and trade him and get something back for him instead of just cutting him.?

Thatís what I mean by gone. No way I cut Bradberry. But I would trade him for a day 2 pick.

He can probably get us a 3rd rounder.

I just donít see him fitting into Winkís system with his lack of speed. He fits more of a zone scheme.

Along those lines, now that the coaching staff is filling out I think we can start some discussions regarding the types of players and maybe even the specific players in FA and the draft that I think Schoen will target.

Don't have much money in free agency unless we make massive cuts or trades

We are going to clear about $40m in cap space with trades and cuts.

The Giants say Bryan Cox is the Giantsí new assistant defensive line coach. Last worked in the NFL in 2014-16, per team. And Kevin Wilkins has been added as a defensive assistant. Wilkins worked last season in the same position for the Baltimore Ravens.

The Giants have hired Angela Baker as offensive quality control coach.

Baker previously spent time with the Browns as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coach Fellowship and becomes the second woman hired to the coaching staff by Brian Daboll.
