That used to be a lot truer than it is now. Not many politicians are around today that used to be called Blue Dog Dems nor Republican "mavericks". The schism that still exists within the Dem. Party right now is in the membership of the rank and file unions and trades associations. They will swing to either side when one or the other party goes crazy to the left or the right.

Considering that today, Biden's net negative rating is worst than Trump's:

And Harris is not looking good, either:

This is not a good look going into the campaign season for congress.

In other words, you didn't even look at the polls, did you?
Read them and then talk to me about how Biden is doing.

I don't have much desire to read trash news sources. Thank you though.

What polling sources do you use?

Taken in the collective, polls are about as useful as economic projections.

I am not concerned enough with polls to have a particular polling source that I use, trust, or recommend.

Polls are useful, but we all know that they are just snapshots and not necessarily predictive. They should neither be ignored nor heeded as if they are gospel.

This is correct. They are a snapshot as to how a group of people sees things today. For instance, according to a compilation of polls, the people see the country going in the wrong direction 65.2 - 26.5%. The last time those polls were positive was June 14, 2009, and it was an even split 45.8-45.8%. People have not been satisfied for a very long time.

He just enjoys watching Biden's popularity fall and sharing the good news with the democrats here. "not looking good here, either" I hate to tell him, I don't care. It would ruin his fun.

Nah, it wouldn't ruin my "fun". My point for bringing polls in is that Biden is not doing a good job of running the country. We replaced one incompetent president with another one.

No, the donor class is doing very well during the pandemic and economical downturn, so Biden has been a very capable president for them. He told them nothing will change. Manchin and Sinema are turning into donor's darlings as well. Mitch even ask his donors to contribute to them. I keep telling people these Presidents and Congresses don't work for you. Why do think these guys leave the "Office" and get very lucrative speaking tours and book deals making millions? Talking and writing for rich donors.
