I want them to take the time to do it right, but I also want them to get it done as quick as they can......take too long to hire a GM and you might be late going after the preferred coach...take too long to hire a coach and you might be late going after the right trades/free agents. Yes, there's time...but it can shrink pretty fast.

We really don't have the info, though, to know who the best especially GM candidates are. All we know about them are what we've read about things they've done in the past- less than 1% of what they've actually done ends up being 'out there'. Perhaps that gal in Philly is perfect for us, but perhaps there's too much Howie in there...we don't know.

All the reports are that some of the top coaches are willing to wait for us to hire a GM because the job is so coveted, but that clock can still run out.

Watching these young QBs killing it lately has just reaffirmed my want for our own guy. When Josh Allen was drafted he looked like a guy with a high probability of being a bust. The Bills took a chance on his talent, coached him up, and now the dude is throwing 5 TDs in single digit temperatures against Bill Belichick in the playoffs. Really hope our next GM won't be afraid of taking a chance on a talented QB.

I don't want Moore either, this Dallas playoff game solidified that. Pretty sure that final play call is going to really muck up his interviews this week. Be interesting to have to explain that over and over.
